Herman Braun-Vega1933–2019
Born in Lima, Peru in 1933, Herman Braun-Vega lived and worked in Paris, France until his death in 2019. In his paintings he referenced well-known works from the European art canon to draw attention to political events and contemporary issues in Latin America.
