Danny Osborne studied at Bournemouth & Poole College of Art. He lived in Ireland from 1971 until 2001 when he moved to Nunavut, Canada, before returning to Ireland. Osborne has exhibited extensively worldwide since 1972. He has undertaken major commissions including the Oscar Wilde Memorial sculpture at Merrion Square, Dublin, in 1997. His work is held in many public and private collections including that of the Arts Council of Ireland; IMMA; the Office of Public Works; and the Canada Council.
