Northern Irish artist and writer Brian Kennedy studied Fine Art at the Belfast College of Art. Working with large-scale, site-specific installations, photography, performance and drawing, he has also written widely about art and is a contributing editor of Circa magazine. Kennedy was the Arts Council of Northern Ireland Fellow at the British School at Rome in 2002. He was chairperson of Belfast’s Art and Research Exchange and is a board member of the Fire Station Artists’ Studios, Dublin.
