Fionnuala Boyd (born 1944) and Leslie Evans (born 1945) met in Leeds and began working together in 1968. Their awards include 1st prizewinners, 6eme Festival International de la Peinture, Cagnes-Sur-Mer (1974); Bicentennial Fellowship, British Council; National Endowment for the Arts, USA (1977-78); Threadneedle Prize Visitors Choice (2010). Their work can be found in numerous collections worldwide including the British Council; Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; MoMA, New York; Tate, London; Royal College of Surgeons, and the Ulster Museum.
