Irish artist Anne Carlisle studied painting at the Ulster College of Art, Belfast, and Chelsea College of Art, London. Carlisle has served on the management committee of Art and Research Exchange. She was a member of the editorial panel of Circa Art Magazine and is a founder member of the Artists Collective of Northern Ireland. She has received many awards including a Bowen Mullally Award in 1982, a Hydrocurve Award, EV+A, Limerick, and the Guinness Peat Aviation Award in 1983. Carlisle’s work is represented in the collections of the Arts Council of Ireland and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
