Brazilian artist Ana Maria Pacheco studied art and music in Brazil before attending the Slade School of Fine Art, London, in 1973. Pacheco was Head of Fine Art at Norwich School of Art between 1985 and 1989. She was Associate Artist at the National Gallery, London, from 1997 to 2000, and received the Ordem do Rio Branco from the Brazilian Government in 1999. Pacheco has exhibited extensively. Her work is represented in a number of public and private collections.
