VACANCY AT IMMA: SECURITY TEAM FACILITATORS

We are now looking to recruit Full Time posts to our Security Team for a 2 Year Fixed Term Contract. Working hours will operate on a Roster and will involve weekend working.

The roles will work with the Head of Security & Fire to provide a safe working environment for staff and visiting public to the Irish Museum of Modern Art, its galleries, exhibitions, programmes and events.

IMMA Transition Year Placement Callout 2018

Are you interested in art, architecture, galleries, museums, art history or design in general? Curious about what a career in the art world entails? Would you like to know how a museum works from its exhibitions and education to other behind the scenes work such as fundraising and security, to its press and publicity? 

IMMA is offering a 4 day interactive work placement to a select group of Transitions Year students from Tuesday 6th – Friday 9th February 2018.

The week will explore the various different jobs in a museum, explore the types of college courses that might be useful including an introduction to academic critical thinking, and portfolio preparation.

If you would like to work as a part of a team, have fun and gain valuable work experience – to register your interest or your application please email fiona.brady@imma.ie before the 30th November 2017 to take part! 

We have an initial 20 placements on a first come first served basis after which a waiting list will be compiled to fill any cancellations which may occur.
