With many short stories and poetry both broadcast and published throughout her career, and having completed a Masters in Screenwriting at the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art and Design, Dublin, Sheila Gorman utilises her skills in bookmaking and writing in her art practice. While at IMMA, Sheila wishes to pursue her written and visual work and the connections between them. Sheila proposes to produce a portfolio of work by drawing on existing and creating new visual and written research which will include the Royal Hospital buildings and its soldiers.
