Studio 13 10 October 2005 - 31 March 2006 Painting/sculpture/photography/video/film/mixed-media/installation Similar to the obsessive activities of the cartographer, Clodagh Emoe's art practice examines the intricacies and instances that occur in the universe that often go unnoticed. Using techniques associated with traditional fine art practice alongside technological devices, Emoe endeavours to make sense of the world around her. Research plays a significant role in her practice resulting in an involved collaboration with people both inside and outside the art world. With this diverse and democratic approach, her practice blurs the boundaries, research becomes art and art becomes research. Emoe has worked on many collaborative projects both within the art world and the wider community.
