IMMA Transition Year Work Placement Callout

Are you interested in art, architecture, galleries, museums, art history or design in general? Curious about what a career in the art world entails? Would you like to know how a museum works from its exhibitions and education to other behind the scenes work such as fundraising and security, to its press and publicity?

IMMA is offering a 4 day interactive work placement to a select group of Transitions Year students from Tuesday 7th – Friday 10th February 2017. The week will explore the various different jobs in a museum, explore the types of college courses that might be useful including an introduction to academic critical thinking, and  portfolio preparation.

If you would like to work as a part of a team, have fun and gain valuable work experience – to register your interest or send your application please email before the 30th November 2016 to take part!

We have an initial 20 placements on a first come first served basis after which a waiting list will be compiled to fill any cancellations which may occur.

IMMA is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
